'Future Perfect Continuous tense - for the present' biasanya tidak ujud bagi 'non-action verb'. Oleh itu, bentuk soalan bagi 'Future Perfect Continuous tense - for the present' bagi 'non-action verb' pun biasanya tidak ujud juga.

Contohnya, perkataan 'hope' (harap) adalah 'non-action verb'. Oleh itu ia tidak boleh dijadikan 'perfect continuous'. Perkataan 'hoping' yang dijadikan 'perfect continuous' adalah selalu diucapkan oleh penutur bukan 'native' (asal) tetapi ia sebenarnya salah dari segi nahu bahasa Inggeris.



Bagaimanapun, sesetengah 'non-action verb' boleh dijadikan 'Future Perfect Continuous'.

Contohnya :

1. Perkataan 'be' (am, is, are, was, were) :

Non-continuous : You were stupid.
Future Perfect Continuous : You will have been being stupid.
Question : Will you have been being stupid ?

2. Perkataan 'think' :

Non-continuous : I think that coffee was great.
Future Perfect Continuous : I will have been thinking about my next holiday.
Question : Will I have been thinking about my next holiday ?

3. Perkataan 'have' :

Non-Continuous : I have a car.
Future Perfect Continuous : I will have been having a party / a picnic / a bath / a good time / a break.
Question : Will you have been having a break ?

4. Perkataan 'see' :

Non-continuous :
   I see what you mean.

Future Perfect Continuous :
   I will have been seeing my boyfriend for three years.
   I will have been seeing Robert tomorrow.

Question :
   Will you have been seeing my boyfriend for three years ?
   Will you have been seeing Robert tomorrow ?

5. Perkataan 'taste' :

Non-Continuous :
   This soup tasted great.
   The coffee tasted really bitter.

Continuous :
   The chef will have been tasting the soup.

Question :
   Will the chef have been tasting the soup ?
